Introducing Pokie, my new Day Gecko

Woohooo....we went to the Lake County Reptile Show and found a beautiful Phelsuma madagascariensis grandis, just 3 months old. We have named her (almost sure, that it is a she) Pokie.

She is shy right now as she is adjusting to her new home, so not the greatest pics.

Updated Vivarium Pictures

Added a few more plants. I was looking for bamboo, at the recommendation of those on PhelsumaWeb.com, I was unable to locate any bamboo, even after visiting 5 stores...so I opted to put in some Monkey wood.

My New Vivarium

I have set-up my first vivarium....it is an Exo-Terra 12"x12"x18" (30cm x 30cm x 45 cm)...it will be used to house a Phelsuma (Day Gecko) species.
